Today's work is here! Point Perspective Scene work. I made mine Otaki Beach and an extra park in the other side. The park is just an added one because it doesn't exsist. I've try my super best to not to insert pictures from the web. The only things that I've insert is: The surfing lady, the kids who's playing with the ball, the kid who's playing with the kite(I drew the butterfly kite), the sign and the fishermen. I hope you like it and then another comment will be seen.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful drawing that really captures the essence of a summer beach scene at Otaki Beach! You are very talented at creating with Google Drawings. Are you also as talented with sketching or drawing with a pencil (or painting)? My favourite scene in your drawing is the lady on the surf board. I REALLY like how you have captured her at the crest of the wave. Perfect! I also think you have created the point perspective with the Otaki beach road very well. Apart from creating this Google Drawing (which must have taken you some time) have you been busy this holidays?
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hello Mrs Naomi
DeleteI am Giang. Thank you for your comment. I have been busy this summer. I've been doing maths, the SLJ work, gardening and sweeping, cleaning the house. I like how your SLJ team have blog commenters. I always love their comments. which is very positive and you can learn new tips from their comments too. Does being a facilitator at the SLJ team keep you busy?
Cheers (Yay!)
Giang (you can call me Carol 'cause Giang's my Vietnamese name)
Hi Giang!
DeleteThanks for taking the time to reply! I'm so glad that you appreciate the SLJ commenters just as much as we love to read and comment on your blog. I have actually learnt so much this summer from all the blogs I have commented on! I really look forward to it every day. I especially like all the artwork as every student brings a special creativity to their designs. In answer to your question, yes! We are kept very busy commenting every day as there are all the other clusters of schools that we monitor (across New Zealand) to make sure that we connect with all students, each time they post.
You also sound like you have been super busy indoors and outdoors! I am interested in what gardening you have been doing - is that flowers or vegetables? My husband and I have recently redesigned our outdoor fishpond to add another waterfall so we have also been enjoying our work in the garden.
Look forward to hearing from you!
Naomi
Hello Mrs Naomi
DeleteI am Giang. Thank you for your comment. It's cool to learn lots of things from the student across NZ. My gardening is just sweeping up the leaves. My house have lots of tree that has falling leaves a lot. Others is: clear the weeds, prune the dead branches. A waterfall with a fish pond is so cool! Do you have fish in the pond?

It is me Quein again a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. WOW!!! This looks amazing, I am most impressed by the fact that you have drawn this all by yourself. I really like the park that you have created. I Love the beach and that you had the waves of the ocean there hitting against the shore,it looks realistic. There are some awesome flowers there that really add to your image. I am very impressed that you have put a lot of effort into the task and the post. It is great to see that you have written a brief introduction and explanation in your blog post which has added to your fantastic image. It also shows that you have an excellent understanding of perspective. You should be very proud of your creative mahi- Ka Pai!!!
I used to also enjoyed making drawings and paintings of the beach and the ocean when I was younger. Do you have any hot tips for your fellow bloggers who may also want to use google draw to make a point perspective?
Keep up the Super work I look forward to your next blog post!!!
Ngā mihi,
Quein
