Kenning Poem

This is my kenning poem I did on the Summer Learning Journey. I got to the site a little bit late so today is Tuesday so the work for Tuesday this week is Kenning Poem. I can't make a Screencastify video of me reading because my computer's microphone thing can't record my voice. I am in a funny mood today so iif you think there's some funny words in the slide, comment please!

  1. Kia Ora Giang,

My name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the summer learning journey.

You did an amazing job with your kenning and I like that you did yours as a guess what style.

It is cool to know that you like horses, have you ever ridden one before?

Using this activity as an opportunity to use new words is a great way to extend your vocabulary so I definitely encourage you to give that a go and including a voice recording of you reading your kenning would be a great way to step up your post!

Keep up the good work and I hope to see more of your posts during the Summer Learning Journey!!

    Ngā mihi nui,
    Zana Yates

    1. Hello Mrs(Ms) Zana. I am Giang. Thank you for your nice comment. I've haven't ride a horse before but I've seen them a lot and they seemed so friendly, I like their mane the most. About the recording my voice reading it there's just a problem that my computer cannot record my voice. I've tried a lot of times but when I check my record on Screencastify there's no sounds. Thank you for your comment. And just to say, you can call me Carol because Giang is my Vietnamese name.

    2. Hi Carol,

I have rode a few horses before and it is very fun they are friendly animals. I like the mane to and their tails especially when they are braided I think it looks very pretty.

Giang is a beautiful name does it have a meaning in Vietnamese?

    3. Hi Mrs Zana

I am Carol. Thank ou for your reply. I haven't seen a horse with a braided tail. I think it will look lovely as with a braided tail. Giang means you will travel far and wide. Happy summer.
