My timeline life

Today I did the work of the Cicada life cycle. I had a look at the video and the read more here link. Then I did the work. It says "Create a timeline of your life or you can use this template". I used the template and fill it in. I've added some pictures too. I've learn that the Cicada had a life pretty much like humans. They're born, eat, get out of their house, get wings and ready to fly of. Find a mate. Babies hatch, and all started again. So this is my work. I am absolutey not sure if my life's going to be ecxactly like that. But don't laugh at the last bit of 34 and the middle bit of 51. Hope you like it.

  1. Kia Ora Carol,

My name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the summer learning journey.

What a beautiful introduction to the activity, I love your comparison between a cicada and a human's life and I agree they do seem similar.

I think your timeline is very well organized and you have some great goals in life like being a doctor or a logo designer. I have a friend who studied visual art to become a logo designer and they really enjoyed the artistic aspects of the degree.

Has being a doctor or logo designer been a dream of yours for a while?

Keep up the good work and I hope to see more of your posts during the Summer Learning Journey!!

    Ngā mihi nui,

I am Carol. Thank you for your comment. I like be a Logo designer because you can get heaps of money and be creative with drawing. Well I think it's sort familiar to making cartoon adds or brochures for other people, I love all of those drawing on the computer jobs. They get lots of money for you. The reason why I like being a doctor is that you can help others and get lots of money too. I remember my mum said that if you're a doctor, in 1 year, you can get money up to 2,3M ddllars and that means you can buy 2 houses and go have vacation in another faraway country. Well may be a bit less than that. Thank you.

      Cheers (Yay)
